How tracked-user pricing works
A tracked user is anyone who gives feedback by creating a post, voting, or commenting. The count does not reset each month.
When an account exceeds its tier, Canny automatically moves it to the next tier. If a monthly spend limit is set, tracking pauses instead.
As of July 2026, Pro starts at $79 per month billed yearly or $99 per month billed monthly at 100 tracked users. It reaches about $1,349 per month at 5,000 tracked users. Above that, Canny requires a Business quote.
The model scales with engagement. Some teams like the lower starting point, while others dislike a bill that grows as more customers participate.
What's gated where
Free
Free includes automatic feedback capture, unlimited feedback sources, unlimited feedback posts, and 25 tracked users.
Pro
Pro adds Jira, Linear, and ClickUp integrations, MCP server access, customer segmentation, automation rules, and private boards. Pro is capped at 10 admin seats.
Business
Business adds SSO, Salesforce and HubSpot integrations, custom admin roles, dedicated support, and the option to remove Canny branding.
What Canny does well
Canny is well reviewed for quick setup and a mature set of feedback workflows. Autopilot can capture, deduplicate, and triage feedback before it reaches a product team.
Its integrations connect feedback to established support and product systems. Public roadmaps also give customers a clear view of product direction.
The common complaints
The recurring pricing complaint is that the bill grows as more users engage. Teams can also find the move from Pro to a custom-priced Business plan difficult to forecast.
Tier bundling is another concern. A team may need one Business feature, such as SSO, without needing the rest of the Business package.
The flat-pricing alternative
FeatQ costs $29 per month, or $19 per month billed yearly. Its $199 one-time Lifetime founding deal is limited to 50 founding seats. The price does not change with feedback volume, and each board supports up to 10,000 voters.
MCP access is included on every FeatQ plan. FeatQ is a focused feature-voting board, not a full enterprise feedback suite. If you need Autopilot-style AI triage or SSO, Canny fits better.
