About FeatQ and its founder, Max Reid

I am Max Reid, the founder of FeatQ. I build it and I run it. This page says why it exists and how I check the facts on this site.
What FeatQ is
FeatQ is a feature request board for apps sold through a store: Shopify apps, WordPress plugins, browser extensions, Workspace add-ons and small vertical SaaS. Users vote with just an email. You build the top request, and voters who opted in get an email when it ships. Every board also has its own MCP endpoint, so a coding agent can read the ranked requests.
Pricing is flat per board, with no per-user fees. $19 a month or $144 a year for the first 25 boards, then $29 a month or $228 a year. Lifetime $199 once, 50 founding lifetime spots. See pricing.
Why I built it
Feedback boards collect votes, then the top requests sit. I wanted numbers, so I audited 29 verified official public boards (dataset dated 2026-07-20). The median top-voted open request was about 4.4 years old. On 26 of the 28 boards where the #1 request was over a year old (92.9%), it still had not shipped. The method and the full dataset are in the feedback board graveyard audit.
How I check facts
Facts about other tools on the comparison pages and pricing posts come from each vendor's own pricing or help pages. Each claim links its source and carries the date it was checked. If you spot a mistake, email [email protected] and it gets fixed.
